FlexiBurn is James Heal’s multi-purpose flammability tester. Flammability testing is used to understand how quickly and easily a material will ignite and how a flame spreads when it is exposed to fire. Multi-purpose Flammability Tester with TestWise Pro™. For testing ease of ignition and flame spread properties of a variety of textile materials - from curtains and drapes to upholstery, nightwear, apparel and children's toys.

 

FlexiBurn has a robotic arm for precise and controlled positioning of the burner and when used with the optional radiator assembly, FlexiBurn complies with EN 13772 ‘Burning Behaviour – curtains and drapes – measurement of flame spread with large ignition source’.
